Possession: Writ
If you need an eviction to regain possession of your land or property we’re here to help. BPS Enforcement specialises in the safe removal of squatters/trespassers from illegally occupied land or buildings throughout England and Wales.
We work in partnership with the police and have authority to use powers of arrest. We operate within the framework of British and European law to deliver a firm but fair solution to your land disputes.
Our national coverage allows us to access and deploy substantial resources and fully trained specialists to attend to your specific requirements and disputes. We have a proven track record in ensuring the safe, successful and ethical removal of illegal occupiers – even in the most challenging of circumstances.
How we operate
Our exceptional success rate is built on these four simple steps:
- Prompt assessment for risk and operational needs
- Operational plan created and agreed
- Operational plan implemented then enforced
- Land handed back to you, the land owner
We can do this through the execution of a High Court writ of possession or using the rights available to a land owner under Common Law.
What you need to do
If you have obtained an order for possession in the High Court, you can simply send it to us a scanned copvia email with your instruction to info@bpsenforcement.com or alternatively can post a copy of your order to:
BPS Enforcement
PO BOX 76379
London
SE1 P 6HZ
and we will take immediate steps to enforce it for you.
If you have obtained an order for possession through the County Court against trespassers, we can transfer the action into the High Court using our transfer-up process. This has a court fee of £66.
To transfer your order to the High Court for swift resolution complete our transfer up request possession form online.
Alternatively send your form to the above address with a cheque payable to ‘HMCTS’ for £66 to cover your court fee. We’ll then process the paperwork and issue it to court for sealing.
What happens next
Once we’ve got details of your property or land you’ll be assigned one of our specialist enforcement agents who will oversee the process, be your point of contact and advise you of an enforcement date.
A risk assessment will be taken and we’ll agree an operational plan with you. We’ll inform the police of our intentions and liaise with them when necessary.
We will attend the premises on the agreed date and complete the eviction by removal of the occupiers and secure the site.
The key factor in our success is speed. We act swiftly on instructions and will quickly take control and ensure repossession of your property.
We’re here to help you and your personal enforcement agent will keep you updated on progress every step of the way.
